School Group Activities at Chateau De Cirque
If you’re looking for a truly original group activity, Château de Cirque is the place! Circus activity is a wonderful way to get kids moving. Our new location is an historical Montréal theatre — the Château — fully converted with specialized equipment, offering a unique experience in an enchantingly vintage atmosphere.
Students will test their abilities across a number of circus disciplines such as flying trapeze, aerial silk, Chinese Pole, hand to hand and juggling. The activities are led by a team of professional instructors selected for their teaching and technical talents. Explanations and demonstrations will put students at ease, and ready to leap into the circus world!

These activities develop coordination, concentration, perseverance and motor skills… not to mention confidence and learning to let go!
It can sometimes be hard to get kids to commit to an ongoing physical activity. This experience will help kids see how important it is to stay in shape — and how much fun you can have doing it.
Details
- Groups can be anywhere from 5 to 60 people for participative activities, and the space can accommodate up to 250 for a show.
- Plan for 2–4 hours for the activity based on the number of participants.
- A Cirque Carpe Diem show can be presented after the activity. Your instructors are also our performers! Being up close to the show makes it all the more memorable and impressive!
- The first 15 minutes are for student arrival at the Château, explanations and warmup. Then, in rotation, students will try out the disciplines and challenge themselves. On the flying trapeze, students will learn the basic moves by doing the right thing at the right time. To finish, the more advanced students will be able to try out being caught in the air by a professional catcher, just like a real circus performer!
Budget
- Plan for approximately $25 per participant.
- The high-flying show at the end of this exciting adventure can stretch from 10–35 minutes. The cost varies from $500–$2,000. The room has a capacity of 250 people. Other services such as a children’s speaker or a magic workshop are available for a fee. Let us know what you need.
